Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Actively defining Backend Quality improvement projects and scoping via analyzing Quality performance indicators to give an overall picture of the key Quality topics to be addressed.
- Work with project owner to define and setup project teams at respective Backend sites with subject matter experts for project kick-off with project charter.
- Lead/manage/control the entire project life-cycle, with suitable meetings and reviews to ensure project success (in terms of scope, timeline, budget, quality, productivity and speed).
- Characterize and solve complex problems with implementation of standardized and harmonized measures to roll out to respective backend sites.
- Focus and keep track of project deliverables, assess progress and effectiveness, risks and manage change with timely reporting and escalation (if required).
- Prepare and maintain proper documentation pertaining to project meetings, improvement measures, procedures and requirements through Infineon documentation means for ease of referencing.
- Define sustaining functions upon project ramp-down and closure, and regularly conduct validation on site to ensure all improvement measures are sustained.
Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Degree/Master's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Material, Manufacturing).
- More than 6 years of experience related to Semiconductor backend Process Engineering, Package Development & Quality Management. Thereof 4 years of leading projects with moderate complexity, risk, impact and reach.
- Excellent project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation. IPMA level C certification or equivalent is mandatory or must be completed within 12 months after start date.
- Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in semiconductor BE assembly & test processes/equipment/materials.
- Advanced knowledge in quality tools & methodologies, Statistical methods & tools, FMEA.
- Willingness to travel to other IFX sites on short notice for short-term assignments.
- Strong leadership ability and self-motivated. Passionate about solving problems.
- Experience leading task forces, focus teams & conducting quality audits.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) & Big data analytics tools.
