Having purview of the overall project, providing direction, reviewing, and monitoring outcomes of all functions to work together effectively and manage the project on track.

To coordinate works and build relationships among departments, consultants, clients, authorities, sub-contractors, and suppliers with a focus on negotiating and motivating them to action and managing stakeholders' expectations.

Be aware of unit costs and monitor and compare daily progress on site with that of the project’s estimate. Review elements that impact construction risk, cost, and manage cash flow to achieve the profit target. Understand and integrate diverse functions for process improvement and cost optimization.

Preparation of project budgets, monitoring of project expenses, taking corrective actions, and providing regular updates on the status of the project.

Analyze contractual terms and provide guidance to the team regarding contractual matters.

Manage the project to ensure completion on time, with compliance to specified quality and HSE requirements.

Ensure adherence to the Company’s Quality and HSE Systems at all times.

Achieve total project completion and obtain the CPC/CCC.

Requirement:

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.

15+ years of experience in the construction industry.

Successfully completed 1–2 full construction project cycles in building and/or infrastructure developments.

Ability to read, interpret, analyze, and forecast project cost reports and determine project status in terms of schedule and costing.

Ability to identify and anticipate site and construction problems and implement workable solutions.

Good relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, subcontractors, and related suppliers.

Possess strong technical and excellent project management skills.

Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

Willing to be based in Kuching, Sarawak.
