Project Manager (Interior Design & Renovation)

We are looking for a highly organized, design-savvy Project Manager with a background in Interior Design and site experience to take charge of our post-sales project flow. You'll be the key person who turns confirmed sales into smooth, well-executed renovation projects.

Job Responsibilities -

Client Handover & Design Coordination

Liaise with clients post-signing to understand design requirements and expectations

Coordinate site measurements, initial meetings, and set project timelines

Manage design presentation schedules and client approvals

Design Team Supervision

Assign tasks to designers (2D/3D/CAD), monitor progress and ensure timely delivery

Review designs to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with client needs

Lead internal design meetings and revisions before final confirmation

Project Kickoff & Site Handover

Prepare complete documentation and transfer to site supervisor

Organize internal site briefing (Supervisor + Designer + PM)

Ensure all construction details are clearly communicated before work begins

Progress Monitoring & Defect Handling

Track progress for ongoing renovation projects

Coordinate with the supervisor to resolve issues on-site

Follow up on post-renovation defects and ensure closure

Documentation & Reporting

Update project status reports, internal tracking sheets, and Google Drive/Notion files

Assist in weekly reports and internal meetings with management

Job Requirements -

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Interior Design

3 to 5 years experience in interior design or renovation industry

Able to read drawings, communicate with site workers, and manage project timelines

Strong communication and client-handling skills

Familiar with tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or KuJiale (or similar)

Able to drive and travel to site meetings when needed

Fluent in English, Chinese or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus

Bonus Points If You:

Have experience in handling quotations or sales

Are familiar with tools like Notion, ClickUp, or other project management apps

Can work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Have managed teams or site supervisors before
