Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Project Manager (Data Migration) to bridge global standards with regional needs in Kuala Lumpur. You will support a long-term transformation program, coordinating data-related projects, requirements, and testing across diverse teams.

You will drive risk management, maintain documentation, and lead stakeholder communication while leveraging SAP/MDM tools and Power Platform capabilities. Strong organization and cross-cultural collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience coordinating data-related projects involving data architecture, modelling, data quality, data integration, or Master Data Management.
• Experience supporting Data Science initiatives or working with data-focused teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Ability to manage several projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience working with international, multicultural teams across regions.
• Proficiency in business analysis, project tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Academic background in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• English fluent; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, Jira, or MDM platforms are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solution design and define technical approaches aligned with global guidelines.
• Coordinate integration testing across systems and teams, including test scripting, execution, and documentation.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation covering solutions, decisions, discussions, and activities.
• Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops for effective communication and alignment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to Master Data and application integration.

Your Profile

• Experience in IT project management, application project management, solution coordination, or a similar role (5 to 8 years).
• Experience coordinating data-related projects involving data architecture, data modelling, data quality, data integration, or Master Data Management.
• Experience supporting Data Science initiatives or working closely with data-focused teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Experience managing several projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience working with international, multicultural, and cross-functional teams across different regions.
• Proficiency in business analysis, project tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Academic background in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
