Construction Project Manager
- Responsible for overall construction management and leading the project team to complete assigned projects in a timely and effective manner according to the company's requirements.
- Lead and supervise the project team, creating submission, tender, and construction drawings. Ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations through meticulous cross-checks.
- Ensure strict adherence to the project schedule, quality standards, and budget parameters established by management, aiming for successful project completion and smooth handover.
- Attend meetings such as Head of Project, Site, and Client/Consultant meetings.
- Monitor cash flow projections regularly.
- Establish site management manuals for project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health regulations.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Evaluate and monitor subcontractor performance.
- Develop detailed work plans including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
- Resolve project-related issues to ensure smooth operation and completion.
- Promote collaborative problem-solving among Project Management, Construction, Design, and Contracts teams regarding quality, cost, and time issues during construction.
- Prepare technical submissions for tender processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to high-rise residential or commercial projects, including interior design, architecture, and façade works.
- Possess CIDB qualification.
- Proven track record of completing projects within budget, on time, and with quality standards met.
- Independent, proactive, technically competent, and a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia for liaising with overseas vendors.
