A leading Malaysian conglomerate is looking for a Construction Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, possess 15-20 years of experience in construction, and demonstrate strong project management and leadership skills. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring project completion within set quality standards.

Having purview of the overall project, providing direction, reviewing and monitoring outcomes of all functions to work together effectively and manage the project on track.
To coordinate works and build relationships among departments, consultants, clients, authorities, sub-contractors, and suppliers, focusing on negotiating and motivating them to action and managing stakeholders' expectations.
Be aware of unit costs, monitor and compare daily progress on site with the project’s estimate, review elements impacting construction risk and cost, and manage cash flow to achieve profit targets. Understand and integrate diverse functions for process improvement and cost optimization.
Prepare project budgets, monitor expenses, take corrective actions, and provide regular updates on project status.
Analyze contractual terms and guide the team on contractual matters.
Manage the project to ensure completion on time, with compliance to quality and HSE requirements.
Ensure adherence to the Company’s Quality and HSE Systems at all times.
Achieve total project completion and obtain the Certification of Practical Completion.
REQUIREMENTS:
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
15–20 years of comprehensive construction experience across full project lifecycles, as a main contractor.
Experience in landmark buildings, skyscrapers, and fast-track projects (data centers, warehouses) is a plus.
Strong ability to interpret and analyze cost reports, forecast project progress in schedule and budget.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
Willing to work in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor.
