Job summary

A leading construction company seeks a Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This full-time role requires a degree in a relevant field and significant experience in high-rise construction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in construction projects.
  • Familiar with legal, environmental, safety, and health practices.
  • Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from design to completion.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors, architects, and clients.
  • Control and monitor work progress and ensure quality.

Job description

  • Responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of construction projects undertaken by the Group within schedule, cost and quality standard.
  • Need to liaise closely with sub-contractors, architects, consultants and relevant authorities and setting guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
  • To manage each phrase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • To oversee the entire process and manage all project’s operational and administration procedures.
  • Need to provide direction in construction planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, client and consultants to ensure overall progress based on schedule of works.
  • To control and monitor work progress and ensure work quality.
  • To do project planning, quality control planning and risk management for project.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior


Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related fields.
  • Min 5 years working experience and experience in the construction of high rise and etc.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English.
  • Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Familiar with legal requirements and knowledgeable in environmental, safety and health practices.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
  • Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.
  • Able to work under pressure and long hours.
  • Computer literate.
