A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager for Career Development to enhance software engineering practices. This role involves collaborating with HR and engineering leaders to design career pathways and implement development frameworks. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in software environments and a strong background in Agile methodologies.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic and people-oriented Project Manager – Career Development to support and evolve software engineering practices across a high-performing technology organization. The primary focus of this role will be leading Career Pathing initiative for Project and Program Management. This involves close collaboration with HR, engineering leadership, and subject matter experts to ensure the career pathways reflect both cross-functional competencies and technical specializations unique to. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of evolving technology roles, emerging skills, and the ability to apply and tailor industry frameworks to meet specific needs.
This is a 6-month contract role to start with. As this is a parental leave replacement position there is no extension for the role at this time.
The Project & Program Management Career Pathway has already progressed from Discovery phase (problem statement, scope, planning & working group formation) to Build phase.
