Qualifications

About the job Project Manager - Based in Laos

Company Background

We are representing our client; a proud subsidiary under a prestigious conglomerate in Laos and that have been around for almost 50 years. As they continue to expand with the newly established subsidiary in investment holding, they are seeking for a Project Manager to join the team

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate project meetings, providing status updates and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Monitor and track project performance, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and change management records.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, key milestones, and budget utilization.
  • Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement practices for future projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly preferred
  • Min 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction, IT, finance, manufacturing
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience working with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
