Job description

Lead overall responsibility for the success of all projects, from design concept to completion, working with key partners, managing budgets, planning, and ensuring technical and regulatory compliance.

Ability to lead a team of project members, coach, and advise them to achieve goals, meet schedules, and resolve technical or operational issues.

Manage client expectations, ensuring projects adhere to schedules and budgets.

Participate in tender preparation, ensuring accurate project estimation.

Collaborate closely with QS on project costing, progress claims, budgeting, and resource planning, including preparing cost comparison charts and recommendations.

Ensure timely awarding of tenders in accordance with the master work programme, coordinating tender processes, documentation, analysis, and recommendations.

Prepare internal project timelines and construction schedules, monitor activities, and report on progress. Ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and productivity rates. Verify work completion and subcontractor invoices, advising management on approval.

Monitor subcontractor compliance with quality, time, and budget to ensure smooth project execution.

Undertake other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Preferably with experience in ID industry
  • Own transport and willing to travel to other states if required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Contract Administration
  • Experience leading and completing a single project valued at RM10 million or more
