A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Project General Manager. The role involves planning development schedules, monitoring construction progress, and liaising with authorities to ensure timely project completion. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience.
To assist the Project General Manager in the realistic overall development planning, scheduling, and monitoring of construction progress.
Liaise and coordinate with local authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, resolving all technical and operational issues arising at the project site and contractual disputes.
Attend all site meetings related to the project site, compile and prepare reports for records and feedback of information for management review.
Follow up with local authorities to obtain approvals for development orders (KM), building plans, and Certificates of Completion and Compliance (CCC).
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned by the superior or company.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Architecture, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to speak Malay and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and be a fast learner.
