Description

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining safety and quality standards in line with project specifications and contractual obligations.
2. Drive project optimization strategies to reduce costs through detailed budget planning and value engineering initiatives.
3. Oversee and guide project progress to meet financial targets and support the achievement of corporate objectives key results.
4. Establish robust reporting systems for the team, providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
5. Develop, supervise, and review designs for commercial and industrial-scale solar systems, covering electrical, structural, and mechanical aspects of the projects.
6. Collaborate with the design team to validate engineering designs, determining the optimal locations for DC & AC equipment, works, and tie-in with the existing electrical system.
7. Provide technical expertise in the review and preparation of proposals, actively engaging in customer and internal stakeholder meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Lead technical direction throughout the project, from kickoff and execution to delivery, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
9. Implement strategies to enhance ERP system, performance dashboard, and other project management tools to improve efficiency and project oversight.
10. Recommend appropriate technologies based on site-specific factors, including geographic conditions, to optimize project performance.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Solar, Electrical or Construction industry.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project and ERP System.
3. Involves occasional travel to project sites, which may include critical phases such as client's interconnection shutdown activities.
4. Result-oriented, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Manage customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
6. Able to inspire and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
7. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in giving timely and anticipated responses.
8. Strong technical aptitude in resolving project challenges and complex problems.
9. Possess strong data analytics and decision-making skills.
10. Knowledge and experience in Solar PV system will be an added advantage.
