Here's How You Will Add Value:
Project Planning & Delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including milestones, risk assessments and communication strategies.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control and closure)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting business quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business units, technology teams, legal, compliance, data and external partners and vendors.
- Facilitate effective communications and collaborationa across business units and functional teams.
- Manage expectations and resolve conflicts or issues as they arise
Risk, Governance and Compliance Management
- Adhere to PMO frameworks, tools, templartes and best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal governance processes and external regulatort requirements (e.g. data privacy, financial regulations).
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and communicate summaries to senior management and stakeholders.
Resource & Budget Management
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for project execution.
- Track and report on project budget resource utilization, and financial forecasting.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO methodologies, tools and processes.
- Conduct post-project reviews and incorporate lessons learned into future project planning.
What you'll need to succeed:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information technology, or a related discipline
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe) is preferred
Work Experience
- 8+ years of project management experience, preferably within financial services, credit rating agencies or fintech
- Experience in managing both business and technology-driven projects
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana, Confluence)
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
- Financial acumen and familiarity with rating methodologies, credit products or capital markets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate, and influence stakeholders
- Strong business knowledge to support solution configuration issues and enhancements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
