The opportunity:

Join our team as a Project Manager, specializing in High Voltage products. As the Project Manager for the High Voltage Business Unit, you will lead projects from the handover from sales through to the end of the warranty period. Your primary responsibility is to ensure successful project execution and delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with the contract agreement. You will adhere to Hitachi Energy's quality and safety framework throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects meet all contractual obligations and customer expectations. How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will plan, monitor, and control project activities to maximize cash flow and ensure contract fulfillment, prepare project schedules, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and manage risks with support from relevant departments.

  • You will ensure projects apply contract and claims management according to Hitachi Energy policies. You will follow execution best practices, monitor project progress, and ensure efficient resource utilization, assure a valid Project Safety plan is in place and meet customer commitments.

  • You will use Full Cost Calculation/Model, control project costs, and cash flow. You will influence project expenditures, follow up on invoicing, and understand contract terms.

  • You will participate in project team meetings, review project status, and ensure customer requirements are met.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Hold a tertiary education in electrical engineering or a relevant industry.

  • Minimum 5years of experience in end-to-end project management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects. Possess strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Business-minded, results-focused, and able to perform under pressure.

  • Proficient in English, Malay, and Chinese, as well as Microsoft Projects and SAP processes.
