A leading Malaysian technology company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development of in-vehicle entertainment systems. The successful candidate will coordinate with various teams and manage project risks while ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Applicants must have a degree in engineering or a related field and fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end development of in-vehicle entertainment head units, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with engineering, design, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive project success.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between internal teams, OEM customers, and external suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment.
NPDS Implementation: Manage product lifecycle phases under the New Product Development System (NPDS) framework, from concept development to launch.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Technical Understanding: Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
Timeline & Budget Control: Monitor project schedules, manage resources efficiently, and keep costs within the allocated budget.
Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 26262) and customer expectations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements for better efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.
