Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil, Structural, or M&E Engineering.
• Able to speak in English and Mandarin
• 7–10 years of site-based experience in managing industrial construction projects.
• Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery with main contractors.

Contract Management & Client Interface

• Manage contractual obligations as per signed client agreements.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with defined scope, timeline, and commercial terms.
• Identify and report contractual deviations, risks, or delays to HQ for escalation.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to validate progress claims and variation orders within contractual rights.

Cost Monitoring, Control & Reduction

• Monitor budget utilization, subcontractor claims, and projected costs with the QS team.
• Identify opportunities to reduce construction costs through efficient sequencing, material handling, and workflow planning.
• Proactively flag potential cost overruns and implement corrective measures.
• Support HQ and consultants in value engineering initiatives.

Site Coordination & Execution Oversight

• Oversee end-to-end site execution to ensure work progresses in the correct sequence and pace.
• Coordinate CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) trades to prevent delays and rework.
• Ensure Site and Construction Engineers address technical issues promptly and maintain proper documentation.
• Enforce site discipline, high productivity, and professional subcontractor behavior.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, consultants, and local authorities.
• Drive timely stakeholder decisions, approvals, and inspections.
• Communicate regularly with HQ for resolving technical or procurement issues.
• Lead all site coordination meetings, inspections, and client/external walkthroughs.
• Take the lead in delivering high-impact industrial construction projects across Malaysia.
