A rapidly growing sports retail company is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead all new site setup and renovation projects across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage project programs for new, refurbishment, and rebrand projects across all stores, including procurement schedules tied to the master program.
2. Identify, communicate, and manage risks or issues related to the master program, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and accountable to meet key milestones.
3. Oversee planning and implementation of projects, including budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers and contractors, and planning project releases.
4. Manage, coordinate, and supervise all Interior Design work from third-party designers.
5. Handle all aspects of commercial management, such as budget preparation, cost reports, variations, CapEx, invoice and payment tracking, ensuring projects stay within budget.
6. Manage tender processes involving consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve optimal results.
7. Ensure outlet development projects are completed within set budget, timeframe, and quality standards.
8. Liaise with mall management, authorities, franchisees, and other parties to resolve issues during outlet renovations.
9. Develop and lead teams to improve preventive maintenance standards.
10. Review and approve invoices related to outlet development and maintenance expenditures.

Key Requirements:

1. Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
2. At least 5 years of experience in interior design and fitout project management within the retail industry.
3. Experience handling new outlet setups, redesigns, renovations, and construction projects.
4. Knowledge of Interior Design work, including drawing layouts, 3D sketches, and material selection.
5. Strong attention to detail and outlet design skills.
6. Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and PowerPoint.
7. Strong leadership, interpersonal, management, and collaboration skills.
8. Effective team building, decision-making, and people management abilities.
9. Ability to analyze situations from multiple perspectives.
