Job description

Our client is a global hospitality design and concept firm that assists clients in planning, developing, and implementing successful F&B venues. They are seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience in architecture and interior design.

Job Function:

Leading project teams consisting of Principal Consultants and Designers. Carrying out internal design reviews, coordinating with project consultants (Architects, Interior Designers, MEP Engineers), and clients. Managing deliverables submission schedules.

Job Scope:
  • Effectively managing and monitoring project deliverables schedules.
  • Communicating and coordinating daily with the project team (Architects, MEP Consultants, C&S Consultants, Clients).
  • Attending project consultants meetings (online or physical), liaising with architects, M/E consultants, owners' representatives, and other parties as required.
  • Auditing and reviewing internal design documentation such as drawings and documents.
  • Managing project teams including designers, principal consultants, and administrative staff to fulfill project mandates.
  • Preparing and submitting meeting minutes, reports, and presentations to clients and the project team, covering design progress, discrepancies, and coordination items.
  • Liaising with the Accounts Manager regarding invoice issuance and follow-up on payments.
  • Managing business trips in accordance with client agreements, ensuring passport validity.
  • Carrying out tender evaluation exercises.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Experience in design consultancy firms working with international clients.
  • Experience in design consultancy, project management consultancy, or construction companies in MEP, architectural, civil & structural, interior design, or related fields.
  • Leadership experience (Project Manager or Project Director) is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and mature thinking abilities.
  • Ownership and commitment.
  • Team player and personable.
  • Ability to work under demanding circumstances with quick turnaround times.
  • Good multi-tasking, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for project meetings and site inspections; a valid passport is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of MEP services (Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, HVAC) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of architectural, civil & structural, and interior design is an advantage.
Education:
  • Strong foundation in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) disciplines.
  • Other related qualifications are an added advantage.
