About the role

BINA HT SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. The position will be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

What you'll be doing

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

Liaise with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and client stakeholders, to coordinate all aspects of project execution

Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues or risks that may arise

Provide regular updates and reporting to project sponsors and leadership

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Mentor and develop the project team to build their capabilities

Continuously look for ways to improve project management processes and practices

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the engineering or construction industry

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed plans, manage budgets, and monitor progress

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools

A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

PMP or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable
