A leading company in Johor Bahru is looking for a Project Manager to oversee project development and ensure alignment with business objectives. The candidate will lead teams, manage risks and issues, and implement effective communication plans throughout the project lifecycle.

Job description

1) Oversee the development of the Project

2) Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget

3) Authorize or reject proposed changes to cost or timescale beyond tolerance levels and all proposed changes to scope, checking for possible effects on the project

4) Ensure Risks and Issues are being tracked and mitigated/resolved

5) Hold a Post-Project Review to ensure benefits are realized

6) Lead a team of professionals through all phases of project development, implementation, and completion

7) Ensure all projects operate according to schedule and in support of high-level business objectives

8) Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines

9) Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them

10) Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project

11) Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy

12) Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

13) Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.

14) Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information

15) Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.

16) Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.

17) Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.

18) Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.

19) Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

20) Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change

21) Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
