Job Title: Project Manager, CAPEX SPEND

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager, CAPEX Spend, will lead the planning and execution of capital investment projects, ensuring timely procurement and deployment of indirect equipment such as jigs and fixtures. The role also involves close collaboration with Procurement and Finance to track budgets, purchase orders (POs), and deliveries. The Project Manager will be focused on CAPEX spend during Johor site ramp-up phase.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consolidate requirements for jigs, fixtures, and other indirect equipment from all departments in the plant.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Finance to build the CAPEX plan, track POs, and monitor deliveries.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure adherence to financial tracking protocols.
• Lead vendor management activities including sourcing and order follow-up.
• Ensure timely and compliant installation or deployment of procured items.
• Provide regular reporting on project status, financials, and risk mitigation plans.
• Manage documentation and cross-functional alignment throughout the lifecycle of capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing CAPEX, procurement, or sourcing projects.
• Strong background in financial and budget tracking.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or operations support projects.
• SAP experience is not required but a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills to interface with technical and financial stakeholders
• Able to work on 12 months contract basis and based in Johor.
