About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

  • You should have a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent qualification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management or a background as a Librarian.
  • Effective application of Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.
  • End-to-end project delivery of software projects and services.
  • Coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including delivering training.
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in library workflows/standards is strongly preferred.
  • Experience as a librarian with a keen interest in software and project management.
  • Project management experience in SaaS implementation within the higher education industry.
  • Experience with Ex Libris/Innovative products is an advantage.
  • Experience in the Public and Academic software industry.
  • Experience working with government institutions in Singapore.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification.

Role Responsibilities

  • Implementing software products and services across APAC.
  • Participating in and contributing to process improvement, global initiatives, and work standardization across APAC.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the customer project team.
  • Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing requirements.
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope.
  • Managing project risk through mitigation planning.
  • Facilitating team and customer meetings.
  • Holding regular status meetings with the project team.
  • Keeping executive teams and stakeholders informed of project progress.
  • Applying Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.
  • Performing software product configuration based on customer requirements.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting customer issues and requests, providing first-line support during implementation.
  • Interpreting and understanding customer workflows and translating them into software solutions.
  • Providing product training to customers via web-based or on-site sessions.
  • Reviewing and contributing to training materials, implementation tools, and documentation.
  • Coordinating extensively with other teams including Cloud Services, Installation, Support, Sales, and Product Management.
  • Serving as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
