DHL Express is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, execution and delivery of strategic IT initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of strategic IT initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable project plans, manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that create measurable business value.

Our teams leverage modern product development practices, including microservices architecture, cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and reusable solution design. As a Project Manager, you will coordinate cross-functional teams across frontend, backend, integration, and data platforms to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

You will play a key role in DHL Express's digital transformation by leading projects throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, from demand intake and requirements definition through development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end visibility of complex enterprise solutions while working with global stakeholders across business and technology functions.

• 5+ years of project management experience, including sustained leadership of medium/large‑scale, complex IT‑enabled change initiatives.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering medium/ large scale projects with material business impact, not only technical implementation.
• Proven experience managing senior stakeholders, including influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Strong leadership capability, including leading project managers, workstream leads and matrix teams in a multicultural, global environment.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery execution.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Methodologies, Tools & Qualifications

• Deep understanding and practical application of Agile and predictive (Waterfall) methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and large transformation or migration.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience with leading Agile SCRUM programs/projects is big plus.

As Project Manager you will be responsible

• Change management: Dealing with changes to the project, committed delivery on time with quality and ensuring zero impact to production due to changes.
• Documentation: Preparing documents and managing reports.
