PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER (IMMEDIATE VACANCY @ PUCHONG)

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Management Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering and project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, production, and QA/QC) to ensure project milestones are met.

Prepare detailed project plans, technical documentation, and status reports.

Monitor project progress using appropriate tools (MS Project, Primavera, ERP) and adjust plans as necessary.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to manage expectations and maintain strong relationships.

Conduct site visits, technical reviews, and inspections to verify project progress and quality.

Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives across project stages.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline (required).

Certification in Project Management is a plus.

Certifications (preferred):

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2

Lean Six Sigma (optional)

Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) for site-based roles

Experience

2 to 5 years of experience in engineering or project management roles.

Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply – mentorship and training will be provided.

Familiarity with project management tools, scheduling software, and technical drawings.

Effective communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
