Project M&E Engineer/Supervisor (Immediate)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project M&E Engineer to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Project M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical aspects of our construction projects. This is a contract role with the potential for extension based on performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical works.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure the timely and efficient completion of M&E work.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality control to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any M&E‑related issues that arise during the construction process.
• Collaborate with the design team to optimise M&E system performance and energy efficiency.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project M&E Engineer in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the M&E aspects of construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, codes, and safety standards.
