Job summary

Ditrolic Energy Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Finance & Commercial Analyst to support the SJREC programme. You will work across Finance, Commercial, Engineering, Legal and leadership to maintain a bankable project business case.

Responsibilities include developing the SJREC financial model, evaluating project economics, and assisting with debt sizing and investment papers for lenders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or business.
• 2–5 years in project finance, investment analysis, or related fields.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Ability to analyse project economics and financing scenarios.
• Experience in renewable energy or energy markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update the SJREC master financial model.
• Analyse CAPEX, OPEX, tariff requirements, returns, and debt capacity.
• Support PPA pricing, commercial evaluations and market scenarios.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, development, and legal teams.
• Prepare debt-sizing, return analyses and investment papers.

Ditrolic Energy Holdings Sdn Bhd is a leading independent clean energy company in Southeast Asia. Headquartered in Malaysia, the company provides integrated renewable energy infrastructure and solutions across the region.

The Southern Johor Renewable Energy Corridor (SJREC) is a strategic programme under AssetCo focusing on renewable electricity exports to Singapore and future domestic energy supply opportunities within the SJREC zone.

The Project Finance & Commercial Analyst (SJREC) will support financial modelling, project evaluation, PPA pricing, commercial analysis and investment readiness. The role works across Finance, Commercial, Engineering, Legal and programme leadership to maintain a consistent and bankable project business case.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Modelling and Analysis

• Develop, maintain and update the SJREC master financial model.
• Model energy subscription, project phasing and route-to-market scenarios.
• Analyse CAPEX, OPEX, tariff requirements, returns, debt capacity and funding needs.
• Maintain model assumptions, supporting data and version control.
• Prepare sensitivities, dashboards and management analysis.

Commercial and PPA Support

• Support PPA pricing, customer proposals and commercial evaluations.
• Analyse revenue models, Singapore retail opportunities and wholesale market scenarios.
• Maintain revenue book analysis and track commercial assumptions by customer and project phase.
• Translate market and contract terms into financial model inputs.
• Support term sheets, bids and commercial decision papers.

Project Development and Tender Support

• Coordinate financial inputs from Engineering, Development, Legal and Contracts.
• Analyse EPCC price-sounding and tender submissions against project assumptions.
• Assess project costs, risks, sensitivities and key value drivers.
• Support development budget planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Ensure technical, commercial and financial assumptions remain aligned.

Financing and Investment Support

• Support project financing, investor engagement and bankability assessments.
• Prepare debt-sizing, return and funding analyses for management, lenders and investors.
• Assist with investment papers, presentations and due diligence responses.
• Maintain financial and commercial information in the project data room.
• Support performance bond, security and financing structure assessments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in project finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, infrastructure advisory or renewable energy.
• Strong financial modelling and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyse project economics, commercial structures and financing scenarios.
• Good understanding of financial statements, valuation and project finance concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities.
• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, Big Four advisory, banking or investment will be an advantage.
• Exposure to PPAs, electricity markets, tender analysis or Singapore power markets will be an added advantage.
