Job description

The job description of an aircraft project executive involves overseeing and coordinating various aspects of aircraft projects, from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Planning (Planning Phase): Jointly evaluate with Planning (Standard), internal/external stakeholders including clients, to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project plans and schedules (flowchart), considering factors such as real estate (hangar space), resources, materials, equipment, tools and timelines.
2. Project Coordination (Execution Phase): Act as a central point of contact (POC) for all project-related communications, internally and externally. Coordinate activities between different teams and departments, such as operations, planning, engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and within various workshop, to ensure seamless collaboration and progress.
3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation (Execution Phase): Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project and develop mitigation strategies. Implement appropriate measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and technical issues
4. Quality Assurance (Execution Phase): Establish quality standards and procedures for the project. Monitor and evaluate the quality of work throughout the project.
5. Project Monitoring and Reporting (Execution Phase): Track project progress against established plans, monitoring key milestones, deliverables, and budgetary constraints. Prepare regular status reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions. Present project updates to management and stakeholders.
6. Performance Monitoring: Implementing performance metrics for tasks burndown rate vs manpower utilisation
7. Post-Check Review: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency, effectiveness, and overall outcomes. Seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Such other duties assigned by Project Manager to support the overall success of the project.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Technical Service Engineer (TSE) in the MRO or airline industry is a mandatory prerequisite.
3. Strong understanding of aircraft systems, components, and technical documentation.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
5. Excellent communication skills for liaising between technical teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
