Job description

1. Attend new project internal Kick-off Meetings conducted by the Sales Department and prepare minutes of the meeting as part of project documentation.

2. Enter project milestone payment terms into the AX system for billing, collection forecasting, and progress monitoring.

3. Monitor progress of milestone payments according to schedule, which is part of the contract. Compile all required documents to facilitate billing and issue billing instructions in the AX system once documents are in place.

4. Prepare Internal Works Orders (IWO) for new projects, including revising existing IWOs as required (e.g., change of contractual scope of supply).

5. Coordinate with the Production Department to plan, schedule, and monitor crane production. Submit project schedules for review by the Project Manager before client release, and provide periodic progress reports for review before client submission.

6. Liaise with the Engineering Department to ensure all project-related documents (duly approved by the client) are in place for the successful completion of the crane.

7. Ensure timely submission of documents to clients for approval, following the document control list. Key documents include ITP, WPS, and Painting Specifications.

Job Requirements

- At least 2-3 years of experience in project management.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical) or related field.

- Strong teamwork and excellent project management skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
