Saquosen Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer (Waste Water Treatment) to join our talented team in Kulai, Johor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art waste water treatment systems, contributing to the company's growth and environmental sustainability initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of waste water treatment projects from concept to completion
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and process optimisation to identify the most effective and efficient treatment solutions
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies (DOE) to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Provide technical guidance and support to the customer to ensure optimal performance of treatment systems
• Continuously research and implement the latest advancements in waste water treatment technologies

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related science degree
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in waste water treatment project management or engineering
• Proficient knowledge of waste water treatment processes, technologies, and DOE regulatory requirements
• Familiar with DOE Notification & Declaration process and handle the related documentation
• Possess a valid driving licence
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
• A passionate commitment to sustainability and environmental protection
