Job summary

Vodapro Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer – Sales & Technical Support to assist our Sales and Project teams in delivering instrumentation and engineering solutions for the water, wastewater and industrial sectors.

This role combines technical analysis with customer interaction, reviewing specifications, preparing proposals, coordinating projects and ensuring smooth execution from quotation through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1–3 years of engineering/project experience will have an advantage.
• Experience in instrumentation, process control, water/wastewater treatment is an added advantage.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, drawings and datasheets.
• Good communication and coordination skills; willing to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Sales Team for enquiries, quotations and project discussions.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, datasheets and technical requirements.
• Assist in product selection and system configuration according to customer applications.
• Prepare technical proposals, datasheets, compliance statements, drawings and project documentation.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and technical discussions when required.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, suppliers and internal Sales & Service teams.
• Follow up on project schedules, documentation, delivery, installation and commissioning activities.
• Assist with tenders and preparation of technical submissions.
• Support testing and commissioning when required.
• Troubleshoot project-related technical issues and coordinate solutions with the relevant teams.
• Ensure projects are completed according to technical requirements and agreed schedules.
