The role involves supervising construction progress, ensuring quality and safety, and coordinating with subcontractors. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and have experience in the construction field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required, along with strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Basic knowledge of construction works.

Can read and understand drawings, PE design and other construction documents.

Able to handle structure, architecture, ID and landscape works. Able to plan work schedule.

To supervise and oversee individual building progress, quality, safety, material ordering and usage, subcontractors’ coordination, consultant inspection and other matters.

To set up and monitor progress/work schedule for project.

To arrange and join inspection with sub-contractors and COW/IOW; and supervising sub-contractors’ work to ensure good quality.

To read and study all construction drawing and design documents.

To assist technical coordinator to observe potential problems, release latest drawing and documents to subcon and guide them to understand their work scope and all the details.

To review and certificate subcontractors’ progress claim. Issue site memo, warning letter and penalty to sub-contractors if necessary.

To monitor material testing such as concrete tube test, rebar test, tile pull out test etc.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

At least 1-3 Year of working experience in construction or any related field is required for this position.

Can read and understand drawings, PE design and other construction documents.

Able to handle structure, architecture, ID and landscape works.

Able to plan work schedule.

Competent in using MS office and AutoCAD.

Strong proficiency in spoken and written in English.

Required languages: English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin (We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.)

Familiar with ISO 9001 will be preferred.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.
