Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN STAREC SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Engineer or Site Engineer for industrial projects in Semicon and Data Centre sectors. The role covers tendering through construction, with on-site supervision, design reviews, and multi-site coordination.

Requirements include a degree in civil/structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical engineering, 5 years in project/site roles, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project. 1-year contract with renewal potential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines.
• 5 years as Project Engineer / Site Engineer, with exposure in Industrial Construction Projects, semiconductor plant or Data Centre projects.
• Professional certification or registration (e.g. BEM, CIDB, PE) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Relevant technical knowledge and experience in the assigned engineering discipline, including design, construction, installation, automation/control system or project execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, SAFE or other relevant design software is an added advantage.
• Ability to work at multiple project sites, including Prai, Batu Kawan, Kulim, etc.
• Flexible for 1-Year Contract (renewal based on progress).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering to project execution.
• Conduct preliminary designs, calculations and prepare drawings for tender submissions, where required.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and stakeholders on technical matters.
• Participate in tender interviews, technical presentations and clarification meetings, where required.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions to engineering and construction issues.
• Prepare, coordinate and review engineering designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate design reviews, revisions and technical clarifications with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide on-site technical support to ensure proper implementation of approved designs and specifications.
• Ensure project activities comply with safety regulations, statutory requirements and industry standards.

• Ensure that work is executed as per the approved drawings, specifications, and project timeline.

PROJECT ENGINEER / SITE ENGINEER (Industrial Projects - Semicon / Data Centre)

In line with the ongoing expansion of multiple industrial construction projects (i.e. semiconductor and data centre), our client is looking for experienced Project Engineer or Site Engineer from any of these engineering disciplines: Mechanical-ACMV/HVAC/Process Piping, Electrical–LV/MV/ELV/BMS/FMCS, Civil, Structural, and Architectural).

What You'll Do :

Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering to project execution.

Conduct preliminary designs, calculations and prepare drawings for tender submissions, where required.

What We're Looking For :
