Job summary

Verdant Solar is seeking go-getters for an internship in Malaysia. You will be empowered to initiate projects and experiment with ideas to speed up operations, supporting site supervision, project management, and troubleshooting tasks.

Ideal candidates are final-year engineering students in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related fields. A 4–6 month placement (Aug 2026 intake) is required, with hybrid work in Petaling Jaya and the ability to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Final-year engineering student pursuing Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering fields.
• 4–6 months internship commitment (Aug 2026 intake).
• Own transport and willingness to travel for site visits, installations, and supervision tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, field staff, and clients.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision: oversee on-site visits and installations with field teams, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Project management: coordinate scheduling for project sites and warehouse; oversee project logistics for timely execution.
• Troubleshooting: assist in resolving solar troubleshooting issues on-site.
• Quality assurance: maintain high-quality standards and prevent errors in operations.
• Problem solving: propose ideas to resolve on-site challenges.
