Qualifications

• Currently pursuing TVET, Diploma, or Bachelor in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Willing to travel up to 75% and work outdoors.
• Good communication and reliability required.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia is required.
• Based in Setia Alam with hybrid on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers on solar PV and oil & gas projects.
• Assist with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and site work.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and commissioning.
• Learn cabling, switchboards, inverters, and plant systems.
• Help prepare basic reports, drawings, and project docs.
• Gain knowledge of safety standards and project processes.
• Collaborate with teams, contractors, and site crews to progress work.
• Contribute to ongoing solar farm and oil & gas facility projects.

About NEOMETRA SYNERGY SDN BHD
We’re not your typical sit‑in‑the‑office engineering team. We work on real solar and oil & gas projects across Malaysia—on‑site, on the ground, and where the action actually happens. One week you might be at a solar farm, the next at an industrial plant.

If you’re someone who gets bored doing the same thing every day, likes being outdoors, and want to learn by actually doing (not just watching), you’ll probably enjoy it here. Expect a mix of hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and a bit of adventure along the way.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work alongside engineers on real projects involving solar PV and oil & gas systems
• Get hands‑on with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and site work (not just desk stuff)
• Be involved in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities
• Learn how things actually work on the ground—from cabling and switchboards to inverters and plant systems
• Help out with basic reports, drawings, and project documentation
• Pick up industry knowledge around safety, standards, and how projects are run in real life
• Collaborate with teammates, contractors, and site crews to get things done
• Be part of active projects like solar farm setups and oil & gas facility work
• Stay curious, ask questions, and take initiative—we’re big on learning by doing
• Open to travelling and working on‑site around Malaysia, sometimes in more remote or industrial areas

What we’re looking for:

• Open for Malaysian ONLY
• Currently studying TVET, Diploma, or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or something related)
• Curious about renewable energy and/or oil & gas
• Someone who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty and working outdoors
• Easy to work with, communicates well, and takes responsibility
• Able to commit to the full internship period
• Show us what you’ve got, and there’s a strong chance of being hired afterwards
• Internship and meal allowance are provided
