About the role

SUI YUEN AIR CONDITIONING ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is located in Melaka Tengah Melaka, and will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our engineering projects across Malaysia.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering projects
• Attending site coordination meeting with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project delivery
• Supervising site activities to ensure quality of work and the timely delivery based on the work programme
• Analyzing project requirements, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies
• Monitoring project progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular updates to management
• Ensuring project compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
• Providing technical expertise and support to the project team, and mentoring junior engineers as required

What we're looking for

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering
• Minimum 1 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the air conditioning or building services industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
• Proficient in the use of project management software and engineering design tools
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices
• Willing to travel within Peninsular Malaysia based on the project location
