Job summary

A leading company in construction and engineering services is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to oversee TNB substation projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of experience, and competencies in project management tools. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on power transmission and distribution projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a local university.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Preferably senior executive level in Engineering - Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Execute, plan, and monitor electrical progress of TNB substation projects.
• Assist project managers in implementing project works within timelines.
• Report site activities and solve daily site problems.

Job description

• Responsible to execute – plan, coordinate and monitor the electrical progress of TNB substation projects (Client:TNB)
• To assist the project managers/project team in the implementation, monitoring and control of progress of the project works within the targeted time line, and to ensure works carried out according to all technical/safety requirements.
• To report and discuss all site activities and site problem to Project Engineer/PM, and to solve daily site problem.
• To check progressively that the work taken up by subcontractors are in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must be a graduate with Degree in Engineering (Electrical) from local university or Higher National Diploma for local polytechnic or equivalent. Majoring in Power is an advantage
• At least 2 years minimum working experience in the related field is required.
• Required Skill (s) : Ms Office, Ms Project, Auto Cad
• Preferably senior executive specialized in Engineering – Electrical or equivalent
• Required language: Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Highly dedicated, good interpersonal/communication skills, responsible and team focused
• Two (2) full time positions available for immediate vacancy (Head Office based)
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Prior experience in TNB substation projects will be an added advantage.
