Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data center operations and demonstrate a positive working attitude with an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. You will play a key role in designing, managing, and ensuring the seamless execution of electrical systems for cutting-edge data center projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ability to lead installation work and project site work.
2. Attend all site matters, attend site meetings, and coordinate installation work by working closely with main contractors, sub-contractors, and other trade works.
3. Able to formulate and write up T&C/CX procedure that includes Functional System Test, Switchover, and Integrated System Test (IST) for a medium to large-scale data center.
4. Possess the ability to coordinate with specialized equipment vendors along with internal and external designers to resolve technical issues.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact with the site team, client, consultant, main contractor, product principle, and other trade services regarding testing and commissioning planning, implementation, and constructions.
6. Formulate a working schedule and timeline of all the involved commissioning processes that will suit the construction master program.
7. Able to work overtime due to the nature of work and site requirements.
8. Able to lead the project full life cycle from construction to commissioning stage (CxL1 to CxL5) and support the Construction team (MEPF) on a technical aspect on a timely basis during the project.
9. Handle change orders, evaluate impacts on scope, budget, and schedule, and implement necessary adjustments efficiently.
10. Continuously stay updated with emerging technologies and apply innovative solutions to optimize project outcomes.
11. Familiar with construction site work requirements, such as producing MOS, project schedule, and tracking of site work progress.

Qualification:

1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Min 1-2 years of experience working in a data center environment or other construction field.
3. Ability to communicate in 3 languages is an added advantage.
4. Willing to travel and relocate based on project requirements.
5. Relevant working experience in MV/LV electrical installation.
6. Technical know-how on electrical systems. Added advantage to have understanding on operation/functionality of UPS/LV electrical system project implementation of electrical system/testing requirements of electrical system.
7. AutoCAD knowledge is a must.
8. Positive attitude and ability to foster a collaborative working environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and proactive approach to learning.
