A leading company in engineering seeks a Project Engineer to manage and execute projects in Johor. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients and authorities, ensuring compliance while maintaining effective communication. This role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, strong technical skills, and attention to detail.
· Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from inception to completion.
· Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
· Oversee the implementation of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
· Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and challenges that may arise during project implementation.
· Liaise and follow up with Consultants and Authorities to track the submission status for ongoing projects until receiving all clearance letters and the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).
· Generate regular reports on all submissions made to Local Authorities and the Land Office, actively follow up on authorities' status updates, and participate in authorities' meetings and inspections as required.
· Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other professionals involved in ongoing projects.
Job Requirements:
· Candidate must possess a minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and have a minimum of 1 year of related working experience.
· Have strong technical skills, analytical thinking, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to communicate and write well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
· Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and able to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (i.e., AutoCAD, etc.).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
