Job description

Your tasks

1. Support sales teams and customers by providing technical expertise in the design, specification, and analysis of pipework systems for piping projects (chemical compatibility, pipe sizing, flow rate, pressure rating, jointing requirement).
2. Responsible for delivering proposals, quotations, and engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
3. Involve in stress analysis, material selection, and system optimization, either independently or by leveraging the global engineering team.
4. Execute and collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure project delivery success, including site support when required.
5. Communicate with various internal departments (procurement, finance, warehouse, sales team, etc.) to facilitate project-related work.

Your profile

1. Degree in mechanical/chemical or related engineering field.
2. At least 1-2 years of experience in piping systems; 3-5 years of professional experience overall.
3. Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and basic concepts (flow rate, pressure loss, friction loss, pipe stress).
4. Prior knowledge of piping applications is an advantage.
5. Able to read drawings & extract BQ from drawings.
6. Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD 2D/3D; ability to model in Revit and Plant 3D is a plus.
7. Willing to learn, improve, and work as part of a team.
8. Able to perform tasks within tight schedules.
9. Organized and detail-oriented.
10. Experience in HVAC/Cooling, Microelectronics, Water Treatment, Data Centre applications is advantageous.
