Job summary

A leading company in the HVAC industry in Malaysia seeks a Site Project Engineer. The candidate will manage projects, oversee engineering compliance, and liaise with various stakeholders. Ideal for graduates or those with 2-5 years in HVAC. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering fields required.
• Preferably 2-5 years of experience in HVAC or ACMV industry.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Overall project management including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Engage and negotiate with suppliers for project costing.
• Provide technical support during project execution.

Job description

Overall project management including project costing, planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring and finalisation of account.

Engage and negotiate with suppliers for project costing, review and examine conformity of engineering design, drawings and documentations with specifications and contract documents.

Attend and participate in meetings with main-con/sub-con/architect/consultant/client and resolving project issues.

Provide technical support and engineering solutions to main-con/sub-con/architect/consultant/client during project execution stage.

Responsible for project liaison, coordination and reporting with main-con/sub-con/architect/consultant/client.

Preparation and review of Monthly Project Progress & Financial Report.

Responsible for on time delivery of projects and within the budgeted scope and cost, timely collection of billings and retention sums release.

Assist in quotation request, calculation and preparation of costing, and completion of tender documents for submission.

Any other task assigned by the Project Manager or General Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Control/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferably junior executives with experiences in Applied Mechanical or ACMV systems or HVAC industry.

Computer literate in MS Office and AutoCad.

Able to work independently, self-driven but also an active team member.

Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Possess strong organisational, interpersonal and analytical skills.

With own transport and willing to travel (local and outstation).

Prefer 2-5 years of experience in ACMV or HVAC industry.
