We are looking for a Project Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry. This role offers a great opportunity to lead and coordinate new project development—from initial tooling to first mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new project development and tool modifications, from start to first mass production.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and mold trial coordination.
- Act as the main technical contact between customer and internal teams.
- Support quotation preparation and develop New Part Information & BOM upon part approval.
- Handle and monitor engineering changes and running production updates.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints related to new projects or tool changes.
- Ensure all new products receive customer approval prior to production.
- Maintain proper ISO documentation and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 13485 standards.
- Contribute to project improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure 6S standards are upheld and followed.
- Manage the smooth handover of projects into full production.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–3 years of working experience in a similar role (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Preferably trained in internal audit for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 13485.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
