About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Essential Engineering Solution Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of the engineering industry.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, including monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving any issues that may arise

Ensuring project deliverables meet the specified requirements and industry standards

Conducting regular project reviews and providing updates to project stakeholders

Optimising project processes and procedures to improve efficiency and streamline project delivery

Providing technical support and guidance to project team members as needed

Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to ensure the smooth running of projects

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry

Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, and monitor progress

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations

Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
