A manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager to oversee pressure vessel and piping projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (advantage).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (advantage).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Pressure Vessel & Piping works.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Basic knowledge on ASME & ISO requirements (advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison with clients and their representatives on all project matters.
  • Develop production/work plans and schedules; ensure performance with the project team.
  • Establish, monitor, and control overall project budgets.
  • Prepare material requisitions & packing lists.
  • Initiate remedial actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure QMS activities are properly implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME Code and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with stores for timely material availability.
  • Report project progress during weekly meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager on labor allocation and scheduling.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by top management.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients and their representatives on all project matters.
  • Develop production / work plans, schedules, subcontracting, and mobilization plans; review periodically to ensure performance with the support of the project team.
  • Establish, monitor, and control overall project budgets.
  • Prepare material requisitions & packing lists.
  • Initiate necessary remedial actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) activities are properly implemented and maintained.
  • Ensure all projects comply with ASME Code and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with stores for timely material availability according to project needs.
  • Report project progress to your manager during weekly meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on labor allocation, scheduling, and special project requirements.
  • Reporting Line - Design Manager / Engineer.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by top management.
Authorities

Resolve project-related issues with approval from the Project manager.
