Job summary

A leading engineering solutions company is seeking a Construction Project Manager for their Malacca operations. The role involves overseeing site construction within the Semiconductor industry, managing resources, and ensuring project compliance with quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and several years of experience in project management, coupled with strong technical knowledge and skills in various engineering applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction, preferably in Semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with Mechanical and Process Utilities Systems required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tender, costing, and proposal preparations.
• Coordinate site construction with stakeholders.
• Prepare project quality plans and risk assessments.

Job Description

• Assist tender, costing and proposal;
• Assist budget, schedule, and resources planning;
• Prepare materials take off and assist in procurement;
• Prepare method statement, risk assessment and permit to work;
• Prepare project quality plan and inspection & test plan;
• Coordinate site construction with owner, consultants, main contractor, and subcontractors;
• Arrange testing & commissioning of installed systems;
• Control and report project progress against project plan;
• Prepare as built drawings and handover documents;
• Maintain corporate ISO and EHS site documentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or related field;
• At least 3 years experience in construction, preferably in Semiconductor related industry;
• Familiar with Mechanical and Process Utilities Systems;
• Possess skills in Construction Project Management, AutoCAD/Revit/Microsoft Project/Primavera;
• Able to work outstation for the duration of a project.
