Participate in project bidding from the aspect of technical (material take-off). Conduct site surveys as per requirement.
- Responsible for monitoring the project schedule. Conduct technical pass-downs for the construction process flow, and facilitate technical, process, and schedule-related discussions and communication with clients to prevent site construction issues.
- Develop project execution plans and detailed work plans/method statements in accordance with company regulations.
- Perform technical pass-downs to all site workers based on the construction work plan/method statement and acceptance criteria. All technical pass-downs shall be documented with signatures from engineers and workers.
- Take responsibility for your scope of management: study construction drawings, understand detailed requirements regarding size, elevation, materials, and specifications. Manage site construction strictly following design drawings, work plans, and method statements. Report to superiors and propose solutions to resolve site problems promptly.
- Establish quality management targets and quality control measures; monitor and follow up on quality control throughout the project.
- Assist the manager in monitoring and managing site construction from technical, quality, and safety perspectives.
- Verify construction drawings and scope changes; communicate with design engineers regarding any design-related issues.
- Respond to site instructions from clients.
- Check and monitor material stock levels to ensure smooth site installation processes.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Project management training
- At least 2 years of experience in site construction management
- Proficiency with AUTO CAD, MS Office, and other relevant software
- Proactive, adaptable to change, responsible, and have integrity
- Good work attitude, able to work well under stress, and a team player
