Project Engineer

Job Title: Operation Engineer (Project)

Employment Type: 1 year renewable contract

Working Setup: Onsite (Rotational shift/ 24/7 Operations)

Work Location: Jalan Sawah, 81000 Kulai, Johor Darul Ta'zim, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities

• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor systems and infrastructure, using monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
• Incident Response: Respond to system alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and escalating as needed.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patch management, system updates, and hardware checks.
• Client Support: Provide technical support to clients, assisting with authorized operations and resolving issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and system configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers to resolve complex issues and implement improvements.

Skill Requirements

• Basic Networking: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and basic firewall configurations.
• Linux Basics: Proficiency in basic Linux commands and system administration tasks.
• Scripting Knowledge: Familiarity with Shell scripting and the ability to write simple scripts for automation.
• Kubernetes Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of Kubernetes for managing containerized workloads.
• AI Compute Basics: Understanding of AI compute concepts, particularly in relation to workload management and resource allocation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and incident resolution.
