Job summary

Muhibbah Engineering (M) Berhad is seeking a Project Engineer/Equivalent for ongoing Klang to Penang site work. You will interpret drawings, translate specifications, and lead teams to meet project objectives with strong safety and quality focus.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar environment, with readiness to be based in Klang and later Penang project sites.

• Proven ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; five years in similar environment.

Job description

• Shall hold as a minimum a Degree in a technical discipline.
• Project Problem Solving – Able to provide the action plan to mitigate the issues.
• Planning and Organizing – Ability the established goals objectives according to for the project requirement.
• Quality of Works – Work produced meet quality requirements.
• Client Relationship – Ability to deal with client to meet their requirement.
• HSE Management – Promote & implement HSE procedure.
• Co-operation and Team Work – Able to have professional relationship with colleagues, peers, supervisors, subordinates and other to achieve work objectives.
• Communication – Express self-confidently, clear in well-structured and logical manner either in oral or written communications.
• Self-improvement – Ability to learn, to enlarge experience, to acquire new skills.
• Minimum of ten (5) years of relevant working experience.
• Shall be capable of interpreting drawings and specifications and translating there into clear instruction to his workforce.
• Shall have good interpersonal skills. As a minimum he/she will have held the position of Project Engineer or equivalent actively for the last five (5) years in a similar environment.
• Willing to be based at Klang Selangor and subsequently at Penang project site.
