Job Summary:
The Project Director will lead the end-to-end delivery of a construction project for a new manufacturing facility and associated office infrastructure. This role requires strategic planning, design coordination, cost control, and construction oversight to ensure timely and successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

Oversee the entire lifecycle of the factory and office construction project, from feasibility and planning through to commissioning and handover.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, goals, technical requirements, timelines, and budget.

Coordinate permits, utilities, and regulatory compliance activities.


2. Design & Engineering Coordination:

Manage the performance of architectural, engineering, and consulting teams.

Review design documents, technical specifications, and construction drawings.

Ensure efficient layouts for both manufacturing processes and office functionality.


3. Construction Execution:

Lead all aspects of construction execution including site preparation, civil works, structural, and etc.

Establish project schedules and monitor progress against critical milestones.

Ensure quality control, site safety, and environmental standards are rigorously followed.


4. Procurement & Contract Management:

Manage procurement of contractors, materials, and construction services.

Negotiate and administer construction contracts and ensure adherence to legal terms.


5. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

Report regularly to executive leadership and stakeholders on project progress, risks, costs, and schedule performance.


6. Commissioning & Handover:

Ensure all systems (mechanical, electrical, utility, IT) are properly installed, tested, and commissioned.

Plan and execute the handover process to operations and facilities management teams.

Lead post-construction review and support defect liability management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum few years of experience in medium-scale industrial construction, manufacturing projects.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, local building codes, and regulatory approvals.

Experience with infrastructure planning, industrial utility, and workplace design.

Working Conditions:

Based on-site with frequent interaction with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours during critical phases of the project.
