Primary Objective:
To lead the end‐to‐end development of solar projects with the key deliverables of obtaining the Development Order (DO), Right of Way (ROW), Financial Close (FC), and securing the Letter of Award (LOA) or EPCC Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary focal point for internal management, clients, government agencies, and all relevant external stakeholders throughout the project development lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate all activities required to secure DO, ROW, and FC approvals in a timely and cost‐effective manner.
- Drive the commercial structuring, negotiation, and closing of project agreements.
- Own and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables with a high level of accountability and independence.
- Leverage strong networking and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence outcomes across industry, government, and local communities.
- Collaborate with cross‐functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, BD) to ensure alignment and execution readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project development, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities.
- Strong sense of ownership and reliability – able to work with minimal supervision while ensuring consistent delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‐solving skills.
- Proactive, commercially savvy, and results‐driven with a passion for renewable energy development.
