To support the Global Business Services Growth, we are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual focus on GBS’ operations. You will work closely with the wider GBS teams (e.g., HR, Talent, Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications, EmPower, Site Operations…) to assist with activities including brand awareness campaigns, events, PR, social media, collateral production, internal communications, and staff engagement, with your own defined tasks and responsibilities.
This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and fostering strong business partnerships within our Global Business Services (GBS) framework. This position requires a dynamic individual with a robust problem-solving mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple global projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:
- Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to develop innovative solutions that adapt to changing business needs.
- Conduct thorough analyses to identify areas for operational improvement and implement effective strategies.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects that span across various regions and functions.
- Demonstrate experience in driving operational improvements and achieving project milestones.
- Project management experience is highly desirable.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Legal, Site Operations, Government agencies, external vendors, NGOs, and professional associations.
- Develop and maintain strong business partnerships to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for GBS projects.
- Marketing and Communications:
- Support the marketing and communications strategy and plan implementation for MY GDC.
- Assist in the creation and execution of content for various media channels, including social media, video scripts, storyboards, landing pages, email marketing, and press releases.
- Collaborate with design agencies to produce marketing and communications collateral.
- Employee Engagement and Onboarding:
- Support new hire onboarding sessions and employee experience initiatives.
- Take ownership of internal communications to engage employees, including organizing staff engagement calls, presentations, and employee events and activities.
- Event Management:
- Handle hands-on tasks related to event management, including both virtual and face-to-face events.
- Ensure successful planning and execution of events to enhance employee engagement and brand presence.
- Research Elements:
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and measure project impact.
- Feasibility Studies: Assess the practicality and potential success of proposed projects.
- Innovation: Explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
L&D, Talent, Culture & Engagement:
- Relationship Building: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships and collaborations with external public and private partners (e.g., professional associations, universities, student associations, NGOs, government agencies, vendors, etc.).
- Learning and Development: Enhance our learning and development (L&D) initiatives, including planning, executing, monitoring and assessing training programs. Submit applications for HRD Corp grant and claims, and keep track of the available funds by Business Units.
- Talent Development: Deliver our talent development plan, considering the firm’s overall goals and making strategic decisions on resource allocation. Co-facilitate the monthly onboarding sessions to ensure that the new joiners are assimilated into our culture and be our proud brand ambassador. Collaborate with the wider HR and GBS Teams to develop events, activities, and engagements, enhancing them year over year.
- Engagement and CSR: Plan, develop and deliver engagement and well-being activities in alignment to our branding and strategic goals. Plan and lead the CSR initiatives to achieve our ESG and CSR target.
- Brand Representation: Elevate our brand representation as we continue to expand and diversify our talent development initiatives. Guide the development of our engagement efforts in meaningful and tangible ways.
